Red Hot & Boom
For nearly 25 years, millions of people have traveled to Altamonte Springs from near and far to take part in a time-honored tradition. An event known for its popular music, spectacular fireworks and more often than not, a major downpour, Red Hot & Boom is an annual celebration like no other. It brings together people from all walks of life to pay tribute to our country’s independence. Families and friends gather for several hours to enjoy the festivities that only this day brings. Uniquely held on July 3rd each year, Red Hot & Boom has created so many special memories for the generations of patrons who have visited Cranes Roost Park through the years.
The City is proud of how Red Hot & Boom has grown in popularity, bringing thousands of people together each year. It’s a labor of love for the hundreds of City employees, production crew members, partners, sponsors and vendors who work so hard to make this event a success.
This year would have marked the 25th anniversary of this wonderful celebration, and even though the coronavirus pandemic has prevented us from gathering together to mark the amazing milestone, Red Hot & Boom will return and welcome back all 200,000 of our closest friends next year!
Note: In an abundance of caution and to help prevent and limit the spread of COVID-19, the 2020 Red Hot & Boom event and fireworks show are canceled.
