Altamonte Springs Recreation operates an indoor therapeutic pool located at the Westmonte Recreation Center. Our pool features a wheelchair lift and ramp for easy access, a whirlpool, exercise hand railings and dressing areas with showers and restrooms. Our programs are designed to help individuals of all abilities by improving their physical health and well-being. In addition, our programs are intended to be therapeutic in nature, physically challenging, physiologically soothing and socially stimulating.
Registration is required and all classes are limited to thirty (30) participants. All classes are forty (40) minutes in length. An Altamonte Springs physician consent form (PDF) must be completed to obtain membership to the pool. A computer photo ID must be made for all members at a cost of $2.00. A yearly fee of $150.00 will be collected from those who reside outside the city limits of Altamonte Springs when turning in their physician consent form.
